The 3860 and 3880 series of printers feature print capability for printing up to seven part forms. Automatic forms thickness sensing is included on dual path models to provide effortless switching from one forms thickness to another. Zero tear-off, automatic paper park, automatic top of form, and a paper motion sensor are also standard. There is also a control panel lockout feature to prevent unwanted changes in printer configurations. Serial and parallel interfaces are standard with automatic switching between the two.
